We are looking for more volunteers to be a part of our amazing booster club.  We are restructuring board positions and here is what we are in need of:

  • Treasurer - this position would help at events where money is collected, enter transactions into quickbooks, prepare / update the monthly budget for monthly board meetings.

  • Committees to assist the VP with the following events:
    Hospitality Committee - help with roundup at the beginning of the school year and coordinate parent socials (3 - 5 people needed)
    Homecoming Committee  - help with homecoming float (3 - 5 people needed)
    Capes & Crowns Committee -  help with all aspects of this event (5 - 10 people needed)
    Love Lunch Committee  -  help with all aspects of this event (3 - 5 people needed)
    Banquet Committee -  help with all aspects of this event (3 - 5 people needed)
    Choir Concert Committee - help with choir programs and sponsorship powerpoint for concert (1 - 2 people needed)
    Volunteer Coordinator Committee - send out signup genius / coordinate volunteers for choir events  (1 - 2 people needed)
    Sponsorship Committee - we have a NEW addition to our team and he will head up this committee.  So these would be supporting roles (1 - 2 people needed)
    Uniforms Committee - help get students sized for their choir uniform, help get uniforms assigned and collect uniforms at the end of the year   (1 - 2 people needed)
    Social Media Committee - help spread the word regarding all things choir and website updates  (1 - 2 people needed)

We are building a bigger choir program which means we need a bigger booster club.  We don't want volunteering with our booster club to be a burden or feel like a full time job, so we are restructuring the booster club and spreading out the work amongst specific committees.  You would need to attend the 2 board meetings that precede your event but any other board meetings would be voluntary.  SO - if you are interested in helping with any of the above committees, please respond to me directly.  Please include / confirm what email address you prefer, your phone number and what committee(s) you want to be a part of (you can be a part of more than 1 committee).

Lake Travis Choir Parents (LTCP) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that supports the Lake Travis High School Choir Program. Our group provides much needed financial support for extra equipment, music, fees, meals, guest clinicians and scholarships. We also provide volunteer support to help with the many events and programs throughout the year. Membership support accounts for a large portion of our budget.
