Mary Poppins Overview

The Mary Poppins musical is a stage adaptation based on P.L. Travers' books and the 1964 Disney film, telling the story of the magical nanny who transforms the lives of the Banks family in London. After the children, Jane and Michael, exhaust their nannies, Mary Poppins arrives and takes them on extraordinary adventures, ultimately helping their father, Mr. Banks, appreciate that his family is more important than his work. The musical combines classic songs like "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" with new numbers to tell a story about love, family, and magic.
